DAY THREE & FOUR

Hiya!

First of all, sorry that you had to see my naked chest. But it just is
too tricky for me to play with the shirt on. Anyways, the recordings
except the vocals are done(vocals will be done next week).
And once again I am forced to say that the shit sounds hot.
I think the engineer and co-producer Tommi managed

somehow capture the energy that comes across in our live
performances.
The recordings went on pretty nicely,
the first two songs are second
takes. The third song was trickier.
I somehow just froze, and couldn't
do it.
After some serious self motivation (read: drinking) I did the

song in next day as a take two.
By the way, here's some update with the lyrics:
Remember the song that said:
Whatsykaah wanaa nounaah???
Well, now the lyrics goes like this:
What you got, is all I know yeeeh.
All you got is what I know yeeh yeeeaah??
You decide which ones better.

I promised you the gigs, well here you are.
The album release gig is held in 12.12.08
at ravintola Lepakkomies, Helsinki.

See you there,

Misha

DAY TWO

HELLYEAH! "Strap it up Boy" and "Bass Solo" are done, except the vocals! (by the way songtitles are not final). Today we are going to record the last song for the cd("Fuck you and fuckin die"). We tried it yesterday, but it is a tricky song, so today we are going to wet our balls in it!

Cheers,

Studio

WELCOME - TERSE!
LOST SPECIES started to record their next release!

Today was the first day at the studio. This time we are recording at DETUNES studio, which is owned by Mishas friends in Helsinki. Tommi & Arto are the dudes behind the wheel, thanks guys in advance!
Today was pretty hectic, after the basic rouding-rouding-rouding - we started checking the sounds and after a couple of hours later we had three songs recorded(drums, bass, guitars). I don't think those takes are the final takes, but still the vibe was good. Overall everything went down pretty smoothly, looking forward what tomorrow brings. Hopefully these songs will kick the living shit out of everybody - music wise + sound wise!
